On August 1,the Japan Water Stewardship Leadership Group hosted the Japan Water Stewardship Forum 2025,bringing together approximately .170 participants,including business leaders,government officials,NGOs,and experts in water management.

The forum was held to advance the concept of shared water resource management in Japan and to deliberate on how to address the country's most pressing water challenges,ranging from impacts of climate change to the development of sustainable supply chains.MS&AD Insurance Group Holding's Inc.(the “Company”) representatives participated in the forum,presenting the Company's initiatives and contributing to a panel discussion.

About the Japan Water Stewardship (JWS)
The JWS seeks to raise awareness of and encourage corporate engagement in water stewardship in Japan. 
It calls on Japanese companies to take responsibility for water resource managements at the watershed level and to address water-related risks in both domestic and overseas watersheds.

Under the theme of "Watershed Water Management and 'Green Resilience'",the Company presented on the rising number of claims for water damage compensation under fire insurance,and introduced MS&AD's green resilience initiatives.By promoting sound watershed water management through the restoration and conservation of nature,the Company is contributing to regional-social issues in the region,including the reduction of flood risk and the conservation of water resources.


In the panel discussion,participants emphasized the importance of collective action and cooperation among stakeholders in the region to advance effective water management in watersheds.
