*1 Applicable to the same ratings of Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance with the guarantee on insurance/reinsurance policies, issued by Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance (the issuer of the guarantee, the “Guarantor”).
The obligations of the Guarantor under the guarantee rank pari passu with all other unsecured indebtedness of the Guarantor.
The guarantee is unconditional and covers the subsidiaries’ obligations of payment and not collection.
