MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings, Inc. (President & CEO: Noriyuki Hara) announces that MS&AD Ventures Inc. （MS&AD Ventures), the corporate venture fund of MS&AD Group, has increased the fund amount by US $80 million (approximately JPY 9 billion) which brings the total amount under management to US $200 million (approximately JPY 22 billion).
Founded in Silicon Valley in the United States, MS&AD Ventures has invested in numerous start-ups with advanced technologies and business models around the world since its inception in October 2018. Business tie-ups between the Group's operating companies and these companies has brought business innovation and the creation of new businesses to our group.
Going forward, our group will continue to make use of MS&AD Ventures’ investment and partnership activities to contribute to the creation of a resilient and sustainable society through the creation of shared value (CSV) with society by digital transformation (DX) and other means.
