(the “Company,” President & CEO: Noriyuki Hara), has been recognized in the GCV Powerlist Award 2020 which is an internationally recognized award related to corporate venture capital (CVC). Two representatives of MS&AD Ventures have been named to the “Top 100 Powerlist” of investors.

＜Investments＞
・Hippo: a unicorn company that provides risk segmentation insurance and disaster prevention and mitigation services to homeowners. In 2019, it was selected as one of the “AI 50” by Forbes. Invested in July 2020.
・Socotra: a cloud-API insurance platform provider. In 2020, it was selected as one of the Oxbow's InsurTech Impact 25 companies. Invested in December 2018.
・Jupiter: a weather startup that collects a variety of data, including communications satellite data, and uses AI analysis to predict natural disasters. Invested in February 2019.

＜Corporate innovation＞
　As a new business program with startups, the MS&AD Garage Program was established for MS&AD Group companies from all over the world to study in Silicon Valley for a short term to solve management problems together. In about two years, 37 people from 22 offices and 5 countries have participated individually. Business alliance has been realized with 10 companies.
